Here are some city photo's. I really like this style because I like to travel and I like it if the sky is very beautiful.
Genres:
Here you see 8 different photography genres. Landscape, portraits, city/architecture, sport, wildlife, vegetation, night and studio. I don't really have a favourite genre but I really like photo's with a really beautiful sky. I also like it if it is outdoors.

Here you see landscape photo's. I like this photo's because it makes me calm and peaceful.

Here you see wildlife photo's. These are also very beautiful because you see animals in their natural habitat. The photo's from this genre is also used for documentaries about nature.

Here you see portraits. Portraits are mostly (I choose three that aren't made in studio's) made in studio's so actually you can also see this as studio photography. I really like portraits from people with really beautiful eyes, like the one on the left. It is a very famous portrait called 'the girl with the green eyes'. It is a portrait made by Steve McCurry. It is actually not really a portrait, but more a protest photo. The photo won lot's of prices.

Here you see sport photo's in action. I like this photos because I also sport a lot.

Here you see vegetation photo's. They are very cool with different colors.

Here you see night photo's. It is really difficult to make good night photos because you don't have much light.

Here you see photo's that are made in studio's. Many fashion photos are also made in studios.

Contrast: the difference in color and light in different parts of image.
Perspective: 3D objects on a 2D photo/surface to do things with height, width, depth etc.
Black and white: If you put the filter black and white over a picture, it looks older. In black and white photos you see many shades of grey.

ISO: incentive shock option.

Research
Subject: the main object in a picture.
Shutter speed:

White balance: the right measurement of light and colour in a picture

Light: you have shadows and reflection. Light has a big influence on you photo
Aperture: a hole or an opening through which light travels.

Composition: the placement of certain things in your picture. Many photographers say that you shoudn't put things in the exact middle of a picture but more in a corner.
Metering: used to measure the brightness of the subject. It adjusts the ISO and the shutter speed so the photo isn't overexposed.
Continuous Focus: a mode and it is mostly useful for keeping moving objects sharp
Framing: putting a picture in a frame
Shooting mode: A mode in which you make many photos in one click on you camera. You can compare this with a burst on your phone.
Portraits

Title: Modesty
Made in: Rotterdam next to the Markthal
Model used: Jasmijn
I used this photo because it is a very spontane photo. I used the filter 'Fade' in the app Photos. You see a modesty girl being happy. I choose the word modesty because you see Jasmijn laughing but she hides it behind her scarf.

Title: What's on a girls mind?
Made in: Rotterdam in the Lijnbaan
Model used: Milly
I used this photo because I like that the background is blured but Milly is very sharp. I choose this title because you see that Milly is looking at something but you don't know where she is looking at. That makes you curious and you want to know what's on her mind.

Black and white

Title: Clouds over Katendrecht
Made in: Rotterdam, Katendrecht
I made this picture because it was very cloudy, but when you looked at Katendrecht, you suddenly saw these clouds in the distance. It actually looks a bit creepy because it looks like these clouds are coming after you.
Title: A shoulder to lean on
Made in: Rotterdam around the corner from our school
Models used: Steyn, Vera and Fons
I used this photo because I think they look kind of badass with Vera leaning on the boys and that they all lean against the wall. That's why I also choose this title. Fons and Steyn are there for Vera. That's also why Fons looks kind of proud.

City/Landscape

Title: Architecture in Rotterdam
Made in: Rotterdam
If you go through a street and go to the right, you suddenly see the skyline of Rotterdam. Every time I see the skyline, I think WOW. That's why I choose this picture. It's also a very iconic picture.
Title: No clear goals
Made in: Rotterdam, Wolfert Tweetalig
The meaning behind this picture is (like the title already says) no clear goals. You wan't to sport but you don't exactly know what kind of sport.

Title: Hey you!
Where: Markthal, Rotterdam
Model: Joris
I think this is a really cool picture because the lens of the camera is in the exact middle.
Title: Footsteps in the snow
Where: In front of my house
If there is snow on the Molenlaan (this street) it is SO beautiful. I can't leave it out. It looks a bit like a winterwonderland.

Title: everything is different through the eyes of someone else
where: From my room
