A still life picture or a painting. It is a visual art genre. In the painting or picture you will see a small group of objects, you usually see fruit and flowers in the art piece.

claire - obscur

Claire - obscur is a picture where the light comes from a 'fun' angle or when the light is really low-key

- In the first picture there are 3 light sources but I didn't really understand what claire - obscur was but I think it is a cool idea with the phones.

- In the second picture I worked with the sun and shadows. I held a flower in front of Simones face and them I made a picture. All these pictures are made with my camera.

rule of thirds

The rule of thirds is a rule in photography that you should never put your main object in the middle but on one third of the photo.

- In the first photo you're attention is grabbed to the middle white 'pole' but when you look at it for a little bit longer you see that I am the main object and I am in one third of the photo.

- In the right photo the railing is the main object. Simone is in the background doing something weird .

Zoom is where you zoom in in a picture.

- The third photo was made in the morning in France. Every morning the dew was really pretty on the grass.

These where my photos. I made them with my camera and I made them with Simone (except for the last picture).

Final photograph

This is my final photograph. I made it in my room with my camera. I used all of the three elements (claire-obscur, rule of thirds and still life). Here are some pictures of how I created the light and the total image.

I have a fish eye at home and I had put my flashlight of my phone against the fish eye which created the rainbow and the round light.

This is a picture of the total composition. I have a letter M and I had put a few jewelries on it.
