COMPOSITION
Composition is the placement of different elements in a artwork.
If you click on the button you will go to a very useful site with all the information you need to know.

On the left you see the difference between a symmetrical and an asymmetrical picture of a tree. Symmetrical means that something is perfectly in the middle and when you look at a symmetrical picture it looks calm but when you look at an asymmetrical picture it gives you more of a dynamic feeling.

In this picture composition plays a big role. All the lines of the stares are almost parallel to each other and you focus on the bottom of the stairs. Many photographers say that you should never have the main focus point in the middle but I think that in this case the photographer made a really nice photo.
On the right you see a painting with composition in the form of a triangle. When you would see the painting without the lines in it you wouldn't really notice that it's in a triangle but now with the lines you see it really clear.

Final project
My final project turned out pretty nice. I made a painting of toiletpaper rolls. For almost every little box I had a different colour. I used the colours green and red. I made them lighter and darker with white and black.
