This is a painting from Hieronymus Bosch.  It is called An angel leading a soul into hell. It is a very red painting and you see lot's of fire. in the left down corner you see a angel showing hell to a naked man. 

This a graffiti painting from Banksy. It is called Balloon girl. This graffiti artwork is made in 2002. Banksy has used a variant of this image in his 2014 campaign supporting Syrian refugees.

This is a mural artwork made by Banksy. The title is I Remember When All This Was Trees. It was made in 2010. This artwork is made in the middle of a heap of rubble, you see down here.

Red usually stands for passion, love, blood, fire and some other things, but you also see it a lot in Christian paintings. Like these 2, it has lots of red and blue in it. This are the 2 colours Maria wears.
